<p>PURPOSE:To exactly understand the printing image of document data by displaying simultaneously a layout of the document data and its format information. CONSTITUTION:When a layout display mode for displaying a layout of document data is set by a layout display mode setting means, a layout display control means converts the document data read out of a document data storage means to layout data. Subsequently, based on format information related to a printing format read out of a format information storage means, the layout of the document data is displayed in a layout display area of an indicator. In this case, a format information display control means reads out format information related to this document data from the format information storage means and displays it in other part than the layout display area of the indicator. In such a way, a printing image can be understood exactly.</p> |
