PURPOSE:To obtain the toner for developing electrostatic charge images which is suitable for a plain paper copying (PPC) system and has desired stable electrostatic chargeability by forming colored fine particles of the resin coated and colored fine particles obtd. by treating a coloring agent with a low mol. wt. resin of at least 40 wt.% of the constituting components thereof. CONSTITUTION:The colored fine particles of this toner for developing electrostatic charge images is formed of the low mol. wt. resin coated and colored fine particles obtd. by treating the coloring agent with the low mol. wt. resin of at least 40 wt.% of the constituting components. This toner is produced by a medium agitating mile internally having spherical dispersion media 2. Since this toner for developing electrostatic charge images is coated with the low mol. wt. resin on the surface of the colored fine particles, the electric resistance of the toner itself can be increased. The toner for developing electrostatic charge images which is applicable to the PPC system and has the excellent electrostatic charge staqbility is obtd. in this way. |
