The Al-coated Li ingot is produced by inserting a basic lithium into the inner of the container (1), filling the aluminium vessel (5) with the lithium (8), separating the vessel by the cutter to form an oil film in the lithium-cut surface, inserting an argon gas into the surface of the vessel and then polishing the oil film, and sealing the inlet (6) of the vessel with the aluminium plate or cover (10). The Al-Li alloy is obtained by adding the ingot to the molten aluminium, and agitating it. The alloy is used as a super lightweight material in the aerospace industry.
