PURPOSE:To secure the safety by installing a clutch means in space between an actuator and a hydraulic valve and an energizing means, energizing so as to be set to the specified travel range, in this hydraulic valve, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 30 keeps a clutch mechanism 34 in a connected state usually, and it is set up so as to have an automatic transmission electrically driven by a drive motor 22. When shift control operation in the control unit 30 is judged to have failed, a clutch mechanism 34 is made into a state of being disengaged, and thereby the automatic transmission is set up so as hot to be driven by the drive motor 22. If the clutch mechanism 34 is made into the disengaged state, a transfer rod is surely reset to a turning position defining a neutral range N and set there, on matter whereabouts it has so far been situated in the position defining the travel range, owing to each elastic force of both first and second return springs. Therefore such a dangerous state as sudden starting, uncontrolled speeding, etc., are all avoided with certainty, thus safety driving is securable. |
