PURPOSE:To provide a video recording medium of karaoke that a part which should be sung is immediately discriminated even when timing to an accompaniment is shifted by differ ently recording the color of characters, which should be sung in accordance with the progress of voice information, among character information with the aid of a color tone changing device which colors the character information. CONSTITUTION:Video information, the character information and the character information among the character information colored by the color tone changing device as the characters which should be sung in accordance with the progress of the voice information are mixed by a mixer 2. Thereafter, they are mixed to the voice information being as the accompaniment music, which is generated by a voice information supply device 5, by a mixer 6. Then, they are recorded by a recording and reproducing device 7 such as a video by a recording and reproducing device 7 such as a video tape recorder. When the device 7 is changed to a repro ducing state, the video information A and the character information B are displayed on a display device 9 and the accompaniment music is reproduced by a sounding unit 11 at the same time. In such a case, since the character information B is successively changed to red color from white color in accordance with the progress of the accompaniment, the timing can be adjusted to the accompaniment when a user successively sings the characters changed to the red color from the white color while watching the display device 9. |
