<??>It relates more particularly to a burner peephole or tuyere surrounding of a vertical furnace or reactor, consisting of the assembly of not more than four prefabricated components (12) made of cast refractory concrete, characterised in that each component additionally comprises a coating (14) consisting of ceramised refractory archstones (15) of identical shape and dimensions, arranged between the part (13) of the component made of cast refractory concrete and the opening (5) intended to receive the burner or the tuyere.
