To improve the electrical connections to the electrodes of a piezo-electric transducer having one face bonded to the dither spring of a laser gyroscope and to avoid the need for the bond-side electrode to wrap around an edge of the transducer the connections are made via an insulated sheet metal element adhesively bonded to the electrode and having a connection portion projecting out from the periphery of the transducer. The insulated metal element could comprise plastics material sheet having an electrically conductive metal layer deposited on one of its faces. <IMAGE>
