<p>PURPOSE:To make a distance to a fixing device from a transfer part short regardless of the length of a paper by executing fixing on a standard fixing condition when the paper is passed through the fixing device at a first time, passing the paper through the fixing device again and setting the fixing condition without executing the transfer action when the paper is passed through the fixing device at second and subsequent time. CONSTITUTION:In the case that gloss is given to an image or an OHP is produced, a refixing mode is selected. In such a case, the same process as a normal mode is executed for the fixing of the first time. When the leading edge of the paper comes out from a first fixing part 70, the paper 56 proceeds to a transfer carrying part 60 again through a recarrying path 77 by a switching lever 74. At this time, the transfer action of a transfer carrying means is not executed. Besides, before the leading edge of the paper 56 arrives at the fixing part 70 again, the fixing part 70, the transfer carrying part 60 and the recarrying path 77 are switched to a low speed which is almost half of a paper feeding speed at the first fixing time and controlled by a control means 78. Moreover, the temperature of a fixing lamp 71 is switched to be slightly higher in comparison with the first fixing time and controlled.</p> |
