PURPOSE:To obtain a feed capable of activating physiology of livestock, especially calf or piglet and improving productivity by blending brown algae with zeolite and beer yeast in a specific proportion. CONSTITUTION:A feed containing brown algae, zeolite and beer yeast as essential ingredients at (9.5-6.5):(0.5-3.5) weight ratio of the brown algae : zeolite. The brown algae used are sufficiently washed with water, dried and pulverized to provide powder for use and the particle size thereof is preferably about 200-6 mesh from the viewpoint of feeding to livestock or poultry. The zeolite is preferably powdered to about 300-600 mesh particle size. The beer yeast is preferably powdered to about 200-100 mesh particle size. The beer yeast is blended in an amount of about 20-5wt.% based on the aforementioned feed. The above-mentioned feed is normally used in an amount of about 0.1-5wt.% based on a concentrate feed expressed in terms of a mixture of the brown algae with zeolite and beer yeast depending on the kind, size, etc., of livestock and poultry to be objects. |
