<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a tape loading time by drawing out a tape from a tape feed reel when the tape is loaded at the tape initiation side and performing the program search processing in a loading state when the tape initiation is not detected after the tape loading operation. CONSTITUTION:The initiation of a tape is detected when a tape cassette is loaded and a rotary head drun 4 starts its revolution. A leader tape is set between an LED 6a and a sensor 6b, and an idler 3 toiches a take-up reel 2 with revolution when the initiation of the tape 5a is detected. Thus the rotation of the reel 2 is locked and a tape 5 is drawn out of a feed reel 1. When a tape loading operation is started, the tape 5 is drawn out of the reel 1 and wound round the drum 4 up to its end. If the tape initiation is not detected yet even after the tape loading operation, the program search processing is carried out for the gape initiation in the tape loading state as it is. As a result, the tape loading time is shortened.</p> |
