<p>The switch comprises a substrate (2) supporting a buffer layer (12), a recess (24) made in the buffer layer and the substrate, an entrant microguide (18) and two adjacent exit microguides (20, 22), the entrant and exit microguides being disposed on either side of the recess and oriented substantially along a first direction, a flexible beam element (26), defined in the buffer layer and fitted with a central microguide (32) over its entire length, oriented along the first direction, this beam element comprising a stationary end solidly attached to the substrate and a free end capable of deforming in the recess along a second direction parallel to the surface of the substrate and perpendicular to the first direction, the central microguide being located in the continuation of the entrant microguide, and excitation means (36, 38, 44, 46, 40, 48) for bringing the free end of the central microguide of the beam element into the continuation of one of the exit microguides.
