<p>The present invention relates to a method of identification of objects with the aid of a code, consisting in producing on each object a row (A) of imprints (1A-4A), each imprint being able to exhibit two different states which represent the two states of one bit of the code, characterised in that it consists in producing another row (B) of imprints (1B-4B), two imprints, one of one row (A) and the other of the other row (B) exhibiting two different states which relate to a same bit of the code.
