<p>In an X-ray tomographic imaging apparatus (100), images of multi-planer slices of an object (M) under medical examination are reconstructed by irradiating the object (M) with a fan-shaped X-ray beam (XB), while continuously transporting the object (M) along its longitudinal axis and rotating an X-ray source (3) and an X-ray detector (4) in relation to the object (M). The actually-acquired projection data and also opposite-beam projection data are processed in accordance with the linear interpolation method. The opposite beam projection data is obtained by calculating the actually-acquired projection data with respect to the slice plane (SC). <IMAGE></p> |
