PURPOSE:To provide the surplus length treating structure for an optical cable which occupies the smaller area on a base plate and allows an easy treating operation by mounting a turn plate disposed with cable saddles on both surfaces to a stand freely turnably within the perpendicular plane. CONSTITUTION:The turn plate 20 arranged with the cable saddles 6 on both surfaces of a flat plate member 21 on the desired large circumference is mounted on the stand 10 freely turnably around a horizontal pin 14 in the upper part of the stand 10. Namely, the turn plate 20 is rotated and the surplus length 4 of the optical cable 3 held pulled up to the upper part of the stand 10 is spanned and wound in an annular shape on the respective cable saddles 6 and, therefore, even if the stands 10 are arranged in proximity, there re no troubles at all in the surplus length treating operation. The turn plate 20 is held and housed in the perpendicular state on the base plate 5 in the state of holding the surplus length 4 in the annular state by rotating the turn plate 20 backward and detaining the peripheral edge part thereof with the body part 11 of the stand. |
