: There are disclosed a prostacyclin represented by the formula: <IMG> wherein R1 represents -CO2R5 group where R5 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aralkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or a monoequivalent cation, or -CONR6R7 group where R6 and R7 each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or form a 5 or 6-membered ring combindly with nitrogen atom bonded thereto; A represents -CH=CH-CH2CH2- or -CH2CH2-O-CH2-; B represents -C?C-group; R2 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, a phenyl group or a phenoxy group or an alkoxy group; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a vinyl group; R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an acyl group, a tri-hydrocarbyl(1 to 7 carbon atoms)-silyl group or a group forming an acetal bond with an oxygen atom of a hydroxy group; a double bond in the substituent represented by A is E or Z, or a mixture thereof; asymmetric center in the substituent represented by R2 is an R-configuration or S-configu-ration, or a mixture thereof; and a pharmaceutical having blood flow amelioration and antiulcer effect and comprising the above prostacyclins or non-toxic salt of its acid, or their cyclodextrin-inclu-sion compound as an active ingredient.
