PURPOSE:To increase the amount of the photoelectric power generation by forming a removing pattern on a rear reflecting layer by overlapping the pattern with a surface electrode. CONSTITUTION:A removing pattern on a rear reflecting layer 5 is formed by overlapping the pattern with the pattern of a surface electrode 1. Therefore, incident light 8 into a light receiving surface other than the a surface electrode cannot be absorbed fully in an active layer but transmitted through the layer. The light is introduced into the active layer again with the rear reflecting layer 5. At this time, the removing pattern on the rear reflecting layer 5 is provided for forming electric contact between a substrate 6 and a P layer 3 or P<+> layer 4. The removing pattern is provided at a position where the pattern is overlapped with the surface electrode 1. Therefore, the entire incident light 8 into the active layer is introduced into the active layer with the rear reflecting layer 5. Thus the amount of electric power generation is increased. |
