PURPOSE:To supply lubricant different in viscosity by providing a final speed reducing differential gear which is interconnected to a transmission for four- wheel drive, concurrently providing a transfer which is interconnected to the differential gear, and thereby providing an oil seal section on the transfer shaft, which partitions the transfer so as to be separated from the differential gear. CONSTITUTION:Engine power extracted from a transmission for four-wheel drive is transmitted to the final speed reducing gear 14 of a differential gear 4 which rotates front wheels via a drive shaft so that a driven gear 12 provided for one end 8b of the transfer shaft 8 of a transfer 6 is meshed with the gear 14. A ring gear 10 provided at the outer end 8a of the transfer shaft 8 is meshed with a transfer bevel gear 16 provided for a rotating shaft 18 connected to the side of rear wheels. An oil seal section 22 which partitions the transfer 6 so as to be separated from the differential gear 4, is provided for the transfer shaft 8 of the transfer 6 which is interconnected to the differential gear 4. Namely, the transfer shaft 8 is furnished with a large diameter section 24 roughly at its center section so that the oil seal section 22 is thereby interposed between a housing 26 and the large diameter section 24. |
