PURPOSE:To reduce a time by providing a sensor which detects a sheet or the final sheet of paper to be fed into an intermediate tray and generates a detection signal for stopping driving of paper feed and separating rollers being left as holding the rear end of a paper, in the case of performing both-side copying of only a sheet or a plurality of sheets of paper. CONSTITUTION:A rear end part of a paper form P and a rear end part of a final paper form P are detected by a sensor 5 respectively in the case of both-side copying only a sheet of the paper form P and in the case of both-side copying a plurality of sheets, and in a detection signal of the sensor, a command is output for stopping driving of a paper feed roller 22 in the predetermined timing being based on this detection signal in a control part not shown. Here the predetermined timing is the timing in which rotation of the roller 22 is stopped so as to obtain a condition that the rear end of the paper form P is put between the rollers 22, 23 and further separated from an upper guide piece 21. Now the put paper form P is held by the paired rollers always during conveyance, so that the paper form P, when it is refed, is immediately fed from this condition with no positioning required newly by a side plate or the like. |
