SAPONIFIED ETHYLENE-VINYL ACETATE COPOLYMER-BASED COMPOSITION AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, improved in water resistance, good in oxygen barrier properties in a high-humidity atmosphere and remarkably improved in drawability and flexibility by blending a polyolefinic resin with a specific graft polymer. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) 50-99.5wt.% saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with (B) 0.4-50wt.% polyolefinic resin and (C) 0.1-15wt.% graft copolymer prepared by carrying out graft reaction of a polyolefinic resin with an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof an further reacting a polyamide oligomer therewith in combination so as to afford >=2, especially 3-50 ratio of the melt flow rate of the component (A)/melt flow rate of the component (B). The resultant composition is melt molded or formed into a laminated structure.
