PURPOSE:To obtain the title reinforcing material useful for producing a fiber reinforced inorganic material such as a fiber reinforced cement, having simple handleability, comprising specific plural yarn groups opposingly set at intervals and reinforcing fiber yarns to hold and support the yarn groups which are provided with a fixing agent, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The objective reinforcing material wherein 3,000-100,000 single fibers having preferably 5-50mum thickness are subjected to first twist at 10-150 turns/m in S or Z twist direction, then subjected to ply twist at 60-80% the number of twists of the first twist to give reinforcing fiber yarn 1 and 2 of carbon fiber, which are opposingly arranged and between these plural yarn groups, other reinforcing fiber yarns 3 and 4 are connected. The yarns 1 and 2 for forming the yarn groups and the yarns 3 and 4 for connecting the yarn groups are provided with a fixing agent. |
