PURPOSE: To rapidly print with high quality by individually addresing, driving at least two heater array by corresponding switching circuit network, and disposing the network near the array corresponding to a heater plate. CONSTITUTION: Heater arrays 34B, 34M, 34C, 34Y are disposed in respective supply holes on an upper surface of a heater plate. The heaters are aligned linearly with the nozzles. When currents flow to resistors, i.e., heaters, the heaters evaporate contact ink, and injects the ink droplets by the force. Switching circuit networks 115, 25, 35, 45 are used for the respective arrays. The networks are reduced in number of contact pads necessary for the heaters of the decided number. For example, one type of the networks is an active driver matrix. These resistors of the arrays can be addressed, and addressing current may be reduced. |
