PURPOSE:To perform a change of direction of a crane in a small site by providing the crane, crossing part, ring-shaped direction changing rail provided in this crossing part, turn table provided in each intersection of the crossing part and a guide rail provided in this turn table and having flexibility. CONSTITUTION:Ring-shaped direction change rails are formed by driving each wheel group 37 to 40 of a crane 16 along running rails 18, 19 to be placed on each turn table 22 to 25 in a crossing part 15 and then rotating turn tables 22 to 25 to be connected to the direction change rails 26 to 29 by deflecting guide rails 33 to 36. A change of direction is performed by driving the crane 16 to run on these direction change rails 26 to 29, so that the crane runs on running rails 20, 21. Accordingly, the crane 16 is made possible to change its direction in a narrow range. Further work at the quay corner part can be performed by providing this direction changing device at the quay corner part. |
