<p>PURPOSE:To concretely understand the outside dimension of a front set by a numerical value, and to easily decide whether the front set can be printed to printing paper or not, while looking at a layout of the front set by displaying simultaneously dimension information of the front set, as well on a display, when the layout of the front set is displayed on the display. CONSTITUTION:A word processor 1 is constituted of a keyboard 3, a printing mechanism PM, a display mechanism DM, an alarm mechanism AM and a controller C, and the keyboard 3, the printing mechanism PM, the display mechanism DM, and the alarm mechanism AM are connected to an input/output interface 34 of the controller C. In such a state, when a layout of a front set is displayed on a display 30, dimension information related to height and width of its external form is also displayed simultaneously. In such a way, the outside dimension of the front set is understood concretely by a numerical value, and while looking at the layout of the front set, whether the front set can be printed to printing paper or not is decided easily.</p> |
