PURPOSE:To easily perform the inspection of the seal imprint of a product of same color as an imprinted ink color by performing the imprint on a dummy seal imprint object, and inspecting the seal imprint. CONSTITUTION:A seal imprint head 5 is moved with a head travel device 6, and the seal imprint is performed on the bottom of a container 1 and the lower plane of a dummy imprint plate 9, and the container 1 on which the seal imprint is performed is carried to the next process as an imprint finishing product. Meanwhile, the dummy imprint plate 9 is rotated in a direction of arrow head (a) with a rotary driving device 8, and the imprinted part of the plate is moved to the upper side of an image input camera 10. After that, imprinted image data is inputted to an image data memory device 11 with the image input camera 10, and is held once at the image data memory device 11, and is displayed on a CRT 12 for constant time. An inspector performs the visual observation of a displayed imprinted image, and inputs imprint defect to an imprint controller 7 and a container carrier B by depressing a defect input key 14 when the imprint defect is found out. In such a way, it is possible to stably and inexpensively perform the inspection of the seal imprint on a various kinds of containers. |
