PURPOSE:To manually move a flaw detector body to detect a flaw by providing the body with a rotor, a position detector and an ultrasonic probe. CONSTITUTION:A ball 23 is arranged in the flaw detector body 22 through a bearing 23A so as to be projected from the aperture part 22A of the body 22 by a prescribed length. An X-axis position detector 24 is arranged in the vicinity of the ball 23, a roller 24C is rotated so as to follow the X-direction rotation of the ball 23 to detect the X-direction moving distance of the body 22 and a Y-axis position detector 25 similarly detects the Y-axis direction moving distance of the body 22. The ultrasonic probe 2 is inserted into a guide hole 22B and the tip of the probe 26 is projected from the lower face of the body 22 and pressed to a body s to be detected with a prescribed pressure. Since the ball 23 comes into contact with the body S in the grasped state of the body 22, the body 22 is manually scanned and the moving positions of the body 22 and the probe 26 are detected by the detectors 24, 25, the position of an internal defect of the body S to be detected is specified. |
