The invention relates to feeding device for livestock, particularly pigs, including a container for receiving feed (1), a hose (6) through which the feed is supplied, and a fixed cylinder (2) into which the hose is inserted whilst being supported and suspended so that it can oscillate at its lower end. The lower end of the hose overhangs a flat and round plate (5) located on the bottom of the container, by a distance which is determined so that when the lower end oscillates under the effect of contact with the head of an animal in the middle of eating, feed falls in successive quantities corresponding to the given distance, without the risk of obstructing the flow of feed. <IMAGE>
