The device, which may be used in an injection system, comprises a computer (12) controlling the state of power members and a source (10) of electrical supply for the computer and power members which is furnished with manually controlled switching means (24, 22) for cutting the electrical supply from the source. The source (10) is connected to an electricity supply inlet for the computer (12) and to the power members to be preset after cutoff via two branches in parallel, consisting of a normal supply branch across a manually controlled switch (24, 22) and of a temporary supply branch having means (30) for detecting current flow and a breaker (28) controlled by the computer, this computer (12) being organised so as to bring the said power members to be preset into a specified state in response to the detection of the flow of a current in the temporary supply branch, and then to open the said breaker (28). <IMAGE>
