Device for installing an awning contained in a double box. The invention relates to a device by means of which it is possible to rapidly instal, with very little handling, an extensible awning with an articulated frame, the rigid plastic sides of which are used as a casing in the form of a protective box after folding. It consists of a movable double box 6 which is displaced over the width of the caravan by way of the platform 3 and over the entire length by the system 8 of the frame 1. A simple traction exerted by the user permits the engagement and the rapid installation without effort; the weight being supported by the rail assembly 8 on the one hand and the support wheels 13 on the other hand. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for the installation of an extensible awning for caravan vehicles and any other user. <IMAGE>
