The invention relates to a device for draining the ground which can be utilised in many fields and especially that of draining roadways. The drainage device according to the invention consists of an assembly (1) of flexible textile materials associated with a water collecting system (2). The flexibility of the materials utilised allows the device not to tear and to retain satisfactory hydraulic capabilities and allows it to be used in very numerous implementations. <IMAGE>
