PURPOSE:To prevent the pollution of a reforming catalyst by an electrolyte or a material formed from the electrolyte by disposing the reforming catalyst in a non-permeable gas passage part and an electrolyte removing material in the inner part of a fuel gas side gas distributing system and between disposing parts of the reforming catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A fuel gas supplied from the outside hardly contain an electrolyte vapor, and the fuel gas is directly introduced to a reforming catalyst 9 layer held by a non-permeable gas passage part. The reforming catalyst 9 present in this passage part allows the long-lived operation of the reforming vapor. The fuel gas containing the electrolyte or material formed from the electrolyte discharged from a gas passage part 70 on the upper stream side of the fuel gas flow is supplied to a gas passage part 70 on the lower stream side through a fuel gas side gas distributing system 12. An electrolyte removing material 10 is held in the fuel gas side gas distributing system 12, and the electrolyte or material formed from the electrolyte in the fuel gas is removed from the fuel gas by the action of the material 10, and the resulting gas is supplied to the lower stream side passage 70. |
