Lance (10) for cleaning by spraying a liquid at high pressure for the tube bundle (9) of a steam generator. The lance (10) comprises an oscillating nozzle-carrier trolley suspended from a rail which is flexible solely in the horizontal plane direction. This flexibility enables the lance (10) to be introduced through a porthole (17), although the latter opens facing the tubes of the bundle (9). Application: better cleaning of the tube plate (19) nearest to the portholes (17). <IMAGE>
