The subject of the present invention is a method for improving the comfort of dancing shoes and, in this case, to distribute the weight of the body over all the toes in the points position, as well as a product for implementing the method, characterised principally in that it comprises the stages consisting in accelerating and/or catalysing a base (1, 2, 1', 2') of elastomer which can be polymerised at ambient temperature, the said base being in a state of fluidity with a high thixotropic character and with low adhesion, then forming therewith, rapidly, a ball (3) of the size of a walnut, then introducing the said ball into the toe (5) of the shoe and roughly lining the wall therewith, then in introducing the foot therein so that the still fluid material is distributed into the free spaces (7) between the toes and the wall of the shoe, then placing the shod foot in the points position without pressing, then placing the foot flat again and waiting for the base to be polymerised, keeping the foot as stationary as possible. <IMAGE>
