A grill is made through successive processes including extrusion, punching and expanding. All the processes form an automatic line. A extruder is connected through a conveyor to a punching press equiping feeding devices, and setting a punching die having front punches and rear punches. The punching press is connected through another conveyor to an expanding device (7) mounting a feeding (-) in device (7a) in the front part and a feeding out device (7b) in the upper part an a rail (12). The feeding out device has arms (13) moving up and down. The expanding device mounts holders (11) moved by a cylinder, and clamps (9) moved horizontally by the rotation of a lead screw (8).
