PURPOSE:To accurately and continuously perform the printing after an error generated place by providing a means adding a printing start page indicating command to the head of printing data to retransmit these data to a printer to a host apparatus and receiving the retransmitted printing command raw by the printer to resume printing from an indicated page. CONSTITUTION:A printer controller 112 calls printing start page indicating command processing when there is a printing start page indication command in a received printing command row. In the printing start page indicating command processing, the drawing command of a printing command is skipped until reaching the printing page consecutive numbering indicated by the printing start page indicating command. A control system command is interpreted to be set to a drawing control table 117. When the control system commands a new page, 1 is added to the printing page consecutive numbering. When the printing page consecutive numbering reaches an indicated page, printing is reopened on the basis of the set drawing control data of the drawing control table 11. As a result, printing is performed after a page where a paper jamming error is generated. |
