PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of the optical head by providing a means for relatively controlling the position of a light source and a collimating lens in the direction of correcting the positional deviation of a light spot formed on an optical information recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A focus error signal is fed back to a servo circuit by which an actuator 130 as a control means is driven. Since a light source 10 is mounted on the actuator 130, the position of the light source 10 is changed in an arrow A or B direction by the feedback of focusing and tracking error signals. Namely, a light beam 110 of the case in which the relative positions of the progressing directions of a collimating lens 30 and the light source 10 are changed is made incident as a divergent or convergent light on a condenser lens 80. Since the focus tracking control is executed with the constitution of fixing the condenser lens 80 in such a manner, the working distance between the condenser lens actuator and the lens can be eliminated and the reduction of the optical head is performed. |
