The section rail connector has at least two removable rails (1; 31). A first rail (1) has at least one clamping component (24) projecting from it which engages in a clamping groove (36) with one or two clamping strips (41) of a second rail (31). This clamping component (24) firmly holds the two rails (1; 31) together when a connecting component (22) secured to it is turned. Here, the connecting component takes the form of a bolt (22) and the clamping component (24) that of a matching nut. The nut (24) is in the shape of a parallelogram with its short side (b) smaller than the distance between the clamping strips (41) of the C-shaped clamping groove (36). The distance (h) between the short sides is at least equal to the clearance in the clamping groove (36) in the region of the clamping strips (41). This provides a practical solution to the problem, often encountered in equipment assembly, especially in heating and ventilation engineering, of quickly, securely and easily assembling components and especially frames. |
