PURPOSE:To obtain a material having less deterioration of magnetic permeability after molding and having high saturation magnetic flux density by using an Fe-base alloy contg. specified amounts of Co, Ge and Al as the material for a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head used for magnetic cards, magnetic tapes or the like is manufactured by an Fe-base alloy constituted of, by atom, 5 to 20% Co, 4 to 16% Ge, 2 to 16% Al and the balance Fe. The magnetic head having less deterioration of magnetic transmissible property after molding, furthermore, having less coercive force after molding and having high saturation magnetic flux density of about 13000 to 18000 can be obtd. |
