PURPOSE:To decrease the required time for readout of selected words and to increase the throughput of the device, by performing a readout operation and a plurality of selection and separation operation for the next readout in parallel. CONSTITUTION:The result of retrieval of a signal line 1 is fetched into a storage circuit 4 for each word. This fetched retrieval result is supplied to a plurality of selection and separation circuits 8, and the result is stored in a storage circut 12. The readout operation is made by using the output of the storage circuit 12. When the 1st on the plurality of selection and separation operations are finished, then the second ones are started. Thus, the 2nd ones are performed completely in parallel with the readout using the output of the strage circuit 12. Thus, the required time for readout of the selected words can be decreased and the throughput of the device can be increased. |
