Cyanate esters of 4,4 min -[1,3-phenylenebis (1-methylethylidene)] 2,2 min ,6,6 min -R-bisphenol, in which each R is independently H or C1-C4 alkyl, can be cured in the presence of catalysts at temperatures in the range of about 250 DEG to about 300 DEG F (121 DEG to 149 DEG C) to obtain percent cyclotrimerization of the cyanate ester groups of at least 80 percent.
