The holder for a bag of tea, rice, etc. has a bar-shaped component (1), from which a first clamping body (5a) is formed at the bottom end. A second clamping body (5b) is hinged on the first one and engages it. - It is pref. flat, with one or more transverse notches (24), and can have a hooked end (2), with a stiffening rib (32) at the side away from the hook.
