The excrement removal tool comprises a chamber, the arms of which are formed trapezoidally (1), the shorter sides of the trapezium being embedded in a hand piece (2). This hand piece is formed as a hinge (3), in which a spring is incorporated for control of the opening of the hinge (4). In the hand piece a locking device is provided, which locks the arms of the lifter closely against one another for transport purposes. This device (5) can be unlocked easily by the thumb of the user.
