<p>PURPOSE: To improve responsiveness to the change of requirement of a driver by feeding a first group of a fluid transfer parameter in response to detection of a forward mode, and feeding a second group of the fluid transfer parameter in response to detection of a reverse mode. CONSTITUTION: The controller 36 of an automatic transmission provided with a continuously variable transmission(CVT) 18 controls the change gear ratio of the CVT 18 through a proportional control valve 44 in response to the operating condition, tension of a belt 20 through a line pressure regulator 50, and disengagement/engagement of a clutch 28 through a clutch control valve and a manual servo valve 56. Selection of forward or reverse drive is monitored by the signal from a shift lever, a specific parameters are executed against the respective cases, and a desired fluid flow speed to operation of the clutch 28 conformed to a desired operation is controlled by the request of the driver. Hence, responsiveness against change of requirement of the driver can be improved.</p> |
