<p>PURPOSE:To enable construction of a connection between an antenna-side module and a signal-processor-side module by a reduced wire by controlling two light switches provided in the antenna-side module and the signal-processor-side module respectively. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reception by a radar, a transmission/reception switch 3 is connected onto the radar receiver 5 side by a second controller 12 and a signal received by an antenna is subjected to frequency conversion and an analog signal processing by a receiver 5 and then converted into a reception digital signal of (n)bit by an A/D converter 6. This signal is converted into serial data by a P/S converter 15 and then converted into a light signal by a first light transmitter 16. A first switch 17 has been connected onto the transmitter 16 side by the controller 12, and the light signal is transmitted to a signal-processor-side module 2 through an optical fiber 24. In the module 2, a second light switch 18 is connected onto the first light receiver 19 side by a first controller 21, and the light signal is received by a receiver 19, restored to parallel data by an S/P converter 20 and then processed by a signal processor 9.</p> |
