PURPOSE:To shorten a time lag for warming up by making the time for entering a low temperature range after the controlled temperature of the heat roll is changed over from a high temperature to the low temperature longer. CONSTITUTION:A fixing part 30 is constituted with a halogen lamp for heating, the heat roll 31 positioned in an upper side where a thermistor for temperature detection is provided, and a pressure roll 32 for adhering with pressure a continues form EP inserted between the rolls with a specified pressure against the heat roll 31, inside. Then, when the heat roll 31 is changed over from the high temperature setting to the low temperature setting, since lowering of the temperature is started after it is raised to the upper limit of the high temperature range once, the time to enter the temperature range of the low temperature setting is made long. Thus, when the temperature is lowered from a fixing temperature to a standby temperature, the warming up time for raising the temperature again is made as short as possible. |
