PURPOSE:To improve the operability of phtographing mode setting by setting a specific mode high in frequency of use when a photographing mode setting button is operated while a photographing signal is outputted, and cyclically changing these photographing modes in turn when the photographing mode setting button is operated while the photographing signal is not outputted. CONSTITUTION:In this image recorder 1 provided with such a setting means that a photographer set a desired mode among plural modes by depressing the one setting button 5 and the set mode information is displayed in a display device 8 consisting of liquid crystal, etc., image recording completion information outputted based on image recoding operation information is stored. When the mode setting button 5 is depressed when the image recording completion information is stored, the mode is immediately changed to a specific mode high in the frequency of use, whereas if the mode setting button 5 is depress when the image recording completion information is not stored, the mode is set to a preset next mode. Thus, the mode setting intended by the photographer is facilitated, and image recording in an erroneous mode can be prevented. |
