PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. giving a conductive sponge roll of which the resistance is easily set up and highly stable and which has a uniform cell structure by compounding a vinylic. organopolysiloxane with specified amts. of an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, carbon black, and platinum catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn, is prepd. by compounding: 100 pts.wt. vinylic organopolysiloxane (A); 0.1-20 pts.wt. organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) [pref. the ratio (V) of the concn. of hydrogen in B to the vinyl group in A being 1.0-8.0]; 3-50 pts.wt. carbon black; 0.5-10 pts.wt. blowing agent (e.g. 2,2'- azobisisobutyronitrile); and a catalytic amt. (e.g. 0.01-0.5wt.% of the sum of A and B) of a platinum catalyst. The obtd. compsn. allows the volume resistivity to be easily set up to a specified value in the range of 10<3>-10<9>OMEGAcm by choosing the combination of the amt. compounded of the carbon black and the blowing ratio. |
