Accelerator-weapon producing speeds above velocity of light - uses toroidal accelerator with central power and control to provide arbitrary speeds

The accelerator circle comprises multiple accelerator-solenoid segments (1) with speed measurement devices (2, 3) and an escape mechanism (4) for release of the shot when it has attained the desired speed. Associated with this is a sighting device (5) controlled by a computer on the central control area (8). Multiple energy distributors (7) feed the accelerator segments under control of the computer. The interior of the accelerator is pumped down to a vacuum. USE - Device is said to be capable of producing arbitrarily high speeds, especially speeds above light speed. Use in outer space or for projecting into space is discussed.
