PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a belt like a bending property, bending fatigue resisting property or the like by embedding a resin film having a width equal to that of the belt and extending in the peripheral direction as a tension body, between the extending part of the outer peripheral side and the compression part of the inner peripheral side of the belt. CONSTITUTION:The transmission belt 1 consists of an extending part 2 of the outer peripheral side, a compression part 3 of the inner peripheral side of the belt, and an endless resin film 4 which has a width equivalent to that of the belt and extending in the peripheral direction of the belt as a tension body is embedded between the above extending part 2 and the compression part 3. Thus, since the resin film 4 is used as the tension body, the belt 1 can be formed in a short time without any positional deflection of the tension body and the generation of voids, and the belt 1 can be prevented from excessively high rigidity so that the bending property and adhesive property between the extending/compression parts 2, 3 and the tension body can be improved and the belt property such as bending fatigue resisting properly can be improved. |
