The centrifugal fertiliser distributor has a hopper and at least two rotating driven centrifugal disks. The drive shafts for the dosing and application unitm project from below through the floor of the hopper. A protective ring (71) is arranged on the ejection element (70), and is inverted over the drive shaft (10) or drive sleeve of the dosing and application unit and extends into the opening in the floor plate. USE/ADVANTAGE - Prevents any wear between the drive shaft and drive sleeve for the application and dosing unit in the region where it passes through the floor plate.
