To ensure that a needle board (1) of a needling machine can be detached from the needle beam (2) in a simple manner and without a substantial expenditure of work, the needle beam (2) is provided with spring-biased mechanisms (3) for clamping the needle board (1) and actuators (4) associated with said clamping mechanisms are provided on the machine frame (5) or on the stripper (7).
